Silverback Vintage Tremolo Springs – Authentic Pre-CBS Tone
With our Silverback Vintage Tremolo Springs, we offer accurate reproductions of the early Fender originals from the Pre-CBS era. These springs impress not only with their vintage-correct appearance but, more importantly, with their authentic tonal character. We use only true-to-spec spring steel with nickel plating and a wire diameter of 1.3 mm, providing smooth tension and a warm, soft tone – without ever feeling mushy or imprecise.

We are proud to be the only manufacturer worldwide offering tremolo springs that not only look like the originals but also feel and sound exactly the same. The secret lies in our optional CryoVibe treatment, a cryogenic process that exposes the springs to extreme cold. This deep-freeze technology, reaching nearly –190 °C, alters the material structure on a molecular level – delivering the tone of decades-old, broken-in vintage springs straight out of the box.
